FC2 in the News

7 Feb 2012: Bedsider's "Method Monday" column features the FC2 this week. THeir conclusion: "What's not to love about that?" We couldn't agree more!

11 Jan 2012: There's a new blog post at The Feronia Project about negotiating safer sex - that includes the female condom, of course. While we think the FC2 can make sex better for everyone involved, it's important to remember that it can also protect you when he doesn't have - or won't wear - a condom of his own.

9 Jan 2012: Did you hear? We're on Twitter

14 Dec 2011: The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) ordered 20 million FC2 female condoms for Brazil. That's a lot of female condoms! O.B. Parrish, Chairman and CEO of The Female Health Company, noted that the order reflects Brazil's leadership in providing women with options to control their health and in further enhancing their national HIV/AIDS prevention program.

16 Nov 2011: Walgreens, one of the nation's largest stockists of the FC2, announced at the US Conference on AIDS in Chicago in November that it has certified more than 500 of its pharmacies as HIV Centers of Excellence. The COEs are located in communities identified by CDC as being heavily impacted by HIV/AIDS. The COE locations are fully stocked with HIV medications often not available at retail pharmacies and also are staffed by druggists who have undergone special clinical training.
